Bovingdons 30th Birthday Bash!

Bovingdons has turned 30 years old, a mile stone birthday and what a party to mark the occasion.

We celebrated in style on 30th November at one of our exclusive venues, Fulham Palace, with friends old and new. Whilst the night was designed around the concepts of ‘growth and the future’, the evening certainly highlighted all of Bovingdons successes so far.

Beginning in the Tudor Courtyard, guests were greeted by the brilliant Houndstooth Strollers, foliage wash to the floor and a beautiful balloon arch (a must on your birthday!).

Shortly after guests began to arrive the drinks reception was in full swing and the roaring fire in the Great Hall had everyone warm in no time on the coldest night of the year so far.

Chapel Down English sparkling wine and canapes were circulated amongst guests whilst Jordan Darko worked his magic on the Steinway Grand Piano.

The highly anticipated dinner was softly called amongst guests who entered an immersive experience on route to the Chaplain’s Walled Garden. From birds tweeting to ethereal sounds, welcome to the future of Bovingdons.

Our tables were brilliantly designed with the help of Classic Crockery and Well Dressed Tables. Copper charger plates and cutlery set the scene with prisms, geometric stands and floristry from Mary Jane Vaughn.

To start..

Cornish mackerel, textures of beetroot autumn fruits and whipped goat’s curd

Goats cheese and pink peppercorn panna cotta, black olive and pistachio tuille and sherry vinegar caviar (V)

The main event…

Beef fillet with balsamic braised shallot and truffle potato. Served with Kale and a carrot puree.

Pan roasted fregola with winter butternut squash crispy sage (V)

To finish…

Chocolate cremeux, raspberries, salted caramel and a hazelnut crumb

Daiquiri pineapple with coconut cream, passion fruit caviar and mango sorbet

The night ended with an espresso martini fuelled party which went down a treat with everybody.
